Our Founder
Our founder Arun Godwin Patel is a highly experienced data scientist, AI engineer and CTO who specialises in finding technical solutions to business challenges and needs into technical solutions.
Recent projects that Arun has overseen include creating a multi-language generative AI voice platform to deliver personalised service in care homes, building an AI-powered food review site and developing a research application tool in the biotechnology sector.
Prior to starting Halo Arun worked for software giant SAP where he was based both in Silicon Valley and Europe. He was part of the team that developed an innovative open source package for users to analyse data on legacy platforms without the need to extract it - so significantly reducing business risk.
At SAP Arun also worked on a host of client-facing projects using AI and machine learning technology, from building a data model to predict customer churn for a media company to projects forecasting energy demand for an energy switching service and predicting patient behavioural patterns for a UK healthcare provider.
Arun has also collaborated on a variety of research projects which have examined how using AI and VR (virtual reality) could deliver personalised mental health relief and the use of voice AI in sectors such as hospitality.
